Me too, sneezing then weeing myself isn’t fun
@Elizabeth will try the Vaseline! And will get myself some local honey hopefully that will help 😩 thank you x
@Chan same I’m very worried about taking anything but I can’t suffer anymore 😩😩😩
@Amy loool not fun at all! 🥹
It's a difficult one, all tablets say to consult your Dr or not to take if your pregnant and your Dr will say they cannot guarantee they are safe in pregnancy. Basically there isn't enough research (they can't exactly test on pregnant woman). So it's basically your own risk to take. I've suffered for 3 years in a row now (pregnancy, breastfeeding and now pregnant and breastfeeding). Vaseline around my nose definitely helps, don't hang your washing on the line, lots of indoor time with windows closed unfortunately!
I’m so allergic to pollen to the point my eyes swell and my nasal passages close up so it’s beneficial for me to take something. I’m normally on 180mg of fexofenadine as prescribed but I can’t take it now. My GP recommended 10mg of Loratadine which is considered safe. I’ve been taking it for maybe a month and so far so good.
Local honey is a myth by the way, it doesn’t work 😭
Loratadine and cetirizine are supposed to be safe in pregnancy (always double check though) You can try putting some Vaseline round your nose to catch pollen and also consuming local honey can stop pollen allergies 🥰 Feel better mama x
