Yeah, I didn’t feel regular kicks til 26 weeks, he still has the odd quieter days now and I’m 31 weeks. If you’re concerned though ring community midwife or triage xx
I had anterior placenta I had little flutters but didn’t have proper kicks till I was like 25 weeks
I had an anterior placenta with my first, didn’t feel anything until 28 weeks and then it was very faint right until delivery. I went to get checked a few times for “lack of movement” but baby was actually moving loads apparently. They told me it was more about finding a pattern - so generally with mine I would feel something around 5am when in bed and then maybe again in the afternoon when I was sitting doing work. Sometimes I couldn’t remember or hadn’t felt anything and would give them a call and they’d say to come in. They were always lovely, and honestly didn’t mind. So don’t think you’re wasting time or anything if you ever have to be checked.
@Chloe what one did you get?
I have an anterior placenta too, I’m 26 weeks on Wednesday the kicks aren’t very frequent but often enough. We purchased a Doppler, my midwife taught me how to use it properly so I can get peice of mind but I promised her if I felt something was severely wrong I wouldn’t use it as confirmation all was okay and would still see a professional. Lots of people don’t recommend them but it’s the best thing I have brought !
