When is your due date? Once I was 3 days overdue with my 1st baby (Lol TMI) I rubbed my nipples for like 2 hours, contractions started about a hour and a half later. Not sure if it was actually due to stimulation but it doesn’t hurt to try.

That’s been me I’ve been walking 7 miles every weekend and not even 1cm dilated but lots of back pain hip discomfort and occasional contractions with lots of Braxton hicks. As I get closer I’m going to try curb walks I’ve been bouncing on my ball here and there maybe try eating or drinking lots of pineapple and eat dates it won’t send you into labor but it’s supposed to make it much faster 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nothing actually induces labor. Your profile says 37 weeks, so it's still pretty early. Not unsafe early, but not reason to rush early. Recent data has shown better outcomes for babies born at 39-40 weeks v. 37-38, so best to let it go longer if you can, just not past 41.

I’m due in 2 days and have been doing allllll the things. Sperm actually contains high amounts of prostaglandins that help soften your cervix. So, if it’s not too terrible, try having a fair amount of sex! Also doing like hip tilts, circles and figure 8’s on a birth ball! My midwife told me to start doing the Miles Circuit around 37 weeks as well. Anything to get your baby into an ideal position and start putting pressure on your cervix, which is what releases the oxytocin for contractions. Eat dates and pineapples too! They also contain prostaglandins. But truthfully, a lot has to line up for your body to naturally go into labor, so none of these things will actually cause you to go into labor. They all just assist in their own small ways! Your body and baby won’t labor unless they’re ready!

@Audrey i’m actually 38 and that’s about when my first was born - and im just tired LOL. ik the usual standard.

@Rena i’ve done EVERYTHING mentioned. even the “midwife” brews. i’m just accepting fate at this point 😭 i appreciate you sm
