One breast bigger than the other one

Help! My right boob is like 2 sizes smaller than the left one! My baby clearly has a favourite one. For the last 2 weeks he kind of refuse even to latch on the right breast. What can I do to fix it? I tried to pump from the smaller but there is almost nothing I feel like that’s why he doesn’t like it. How can help production if he wouldn’t latch? Anyone had the same problem? Would like my boob to be kind of even at the end of this journey 🥲🫶 Thank you

This is completely normal. We all have a "slacker boob" typically it's the left but sounds opposite for you. Nothing can be done to up the supply it does cause temporary uneven boobs. You're the only one who notices. Your boobs won't be even by the end. Give it a year they should even out with time. Relax and enjoy the journey mama

my right boob is the same. although, my baby doesn’t show preference between the two. at first, i tried latching her to my right side first every time, extra pumping, etc but nothing worked so i just stopped exhausting myself and accepted it! sometimes the anatomy is different and one side literally can’t produce any more than it is. but at the end of the day what was most important to me was that between the two i had enough to feed my girl!

Same same. I noticed this change when my boy hit 13-14weeks. I also learned recently that in some cases one boob will just forever be a little larger than the other.. Good thing these little mother suckers are so cute 🙃🥲

My right boob is very bigger than my left one. Some how my right boob is having problems with milk coming out like it feel full and engorged but hurts a lot! I tried having my baby drink from it but she some how doesn’t even empty it out for me and I’m pumping for about 1 hour still can’t empty it out? My left one is perfectly fine she latches good but just my right one!

I agree with all of you and that boob is always been bigger but now it is the only one producing milk like if I pump I get 90/120ml on the left and nothing on the right maybe I will see a consultant for help. Thank you all

Baby is better at extracting milk than a pump. Try hand expressing or warm compressions to get more out. How old is baby?

Try to change the position of nursing and always start with the smaller side

He is 3 months

Oh, your supply has just regulated. This means that now it's more about supply and demand. The more you remove, the more your body will make. Try hand Expressing your low side to get it up. Try getting baby to feed when drowsy on the low side. Any sucking even without swallowing will help get the supply up.

@Amanda what do you mean about hand expressing? Sorry I’m still new with breastfeeding. I did breast with my other daughter but milk supply never suffered the way it’s suffering now with my breastfeeding journey 😓
