Induction
Hi ladies.
Is my due date tomorrow and I am getting induced as I am high risk of preeclampsia.
It’s my second pregnancy so I was expecting to give birth before the 40th week mark but looks like this little lady had other plans.
Do you have any positive induced labour? I am starting to panic and overthink everything lol.
Also I don’t have any symptoms of labour, no pain ,not uncomfortable so I really don’t have any idea how long it will take to start labour and I’m constantly thinking at my toddler who never really spends time away from me.

I got induced both times. My first induction was horrible and lasted for days (had other complications too) got induced with my second and had no problems. I went in around 9pm and had her by 9:54pm the next night with hardly any pushing and no tears
I was induced with my first at 1pm on the Thursday and had my baby at 18:44pm on the Friday just 2hrs after having my water broken. You hear a lot of negative induction stories but there are positive ones too

I wasn’t induced second time around as baby came spontaneously after a sweep at 38w5days but I was told but multiple people including my mum who was a midwife that 2nd time inductions are usually fine, it’s 1st time ones that can take ages. If you are high risk they won’t want you in labour too long anyway so try not to worry too much, it helps your body knows what to do! I didn’t feel any pangs of labour at all and was quite comfortable until then.
