Are you planning on getting an epidural?

@Sindy yes i am!

Okay! Then I would really worry about pain. I got induced with my son at 39 weeks and I was fine until 5cm. At that point they offered a epidural and I took it but I honestly could’ve kept going. I know everyone is different with pain tolerance but it wasn’t too bad. I just breathed through the contractions and tried to relax as much as possible.

@Sindy did you get pitocin ???

I did the folley bulb and then pitocin

@Sindy i turn 37 weeks tomorrow if she doesn’t come before 39 weeks ill need to be induced

@Sindy did it hurt?

No honestly I can say it was a pretty good experience. So I good I’m about to have a second baby and my first is only 14 months old

I recommend gentle birthing app and/or the hypnobirthing by Siobhan Miller to help learn coping and breathing mechanisms. During a contraction breathe in for 4 and out for 8 and do this 4 times and that will be the length of a contraction. Then work on relaxing in between contractions. Breathe in peace breathe out tension. Can squeeze combs or acupressure balls during contractions too.
