It does get better! But if you don’t feel ready yet it’s not a rush.. have you started with trying naps in the day yet? That’s what I’m doing with my little girl, helps with getting used to leaving them aswell. And you will definitely hear him if he needs you, I was always on high alert with my son xx

You will find you will wake up more than him the first night, then it’s just the same as him being beside you. My little girl has went in with her brother and she sleeps so much better with her own space etc x

@Robyn he’s been sleeping in the big cot for a long time just in our room, and naps on his own with camera is just the room change that freaks me out xx thank you

My daughter has been in her own room since 6 months and there is no doubt I wake up to every little sound she makes. I even wake up to check her when she's soundly sleeping away. If you don't feel ready keep him in your room. We only moved my daughter because we were sure our movements were waking her up at nighttime x

My daughter has been in her room for 3 weeks and has been fine. We all sleep better but I still hear her when she properly wakes up

We did it last night and he slept the longest stretch of 7.5 h which he never done before so I guess he’s happy 😂🥹
