Xonvea

Hi everyone! Is anyone taking the tablet Xonvea for sickness? I’m on 2 tablets a day to take at nighttime but thinking of taking it in the daytime instead as when I take it before bed I don’t think it’s helping as I’m asleep! I’m 30 weeks and still super nauseous! Thanks!

I took this for my whole pregnancy from 10 weeks, at night time and worked great x

@Rachel ah ok! Such a shame it’s not working for me! They said to take at night just because it can make you feel tired but just wondering if taking it in the day would make a difference! X

I was on it my whole pregnancy but I was taking 4 a day. Anything below that didn’t work. I’d try increasing and see how it goes.

Now you’re out of the 1st trimester there are other drugs available. definitly have a chat with your dr

@Ceri-Ann I have only just started this a few weeks ago as was told it’s really good but definitely will try something else if this doesn’t continue to help!

You need to take it in the evening as that’s the main dose, Dr told me not to take it in the day without at night. Best thing to do, is take 2 at night, and one in a morning. You can take upto 4 a day, so can even take one in the afternoon. Tbh if you’re not actually being sick I wouldn’t up them, as a side effect is actually nausea

@Jess that’s exactly how I took them. 2 at night, 1 morning and 1 afternoon ☺️ I rarely had vomiting tho, only nausea, and they never made it worse.

@Aggs I have hyperemisis where I’m sick all time and still sick now at 33 almost 34 weeks 😅🥴 they’re literally my only life line to be able to keep anything in

@Jess I had it too, isn’t it horrible 😢 I was bed bound the whole pregnancy, Xonvea was the only thing which worked for me. I took it until the day I gave birth. It feels impossible but it really gets better.

I ended up usually taking one in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, as my nausea is worst in the evenings. I personally don’t get drowsy/sleepy after taking them - but might be a problem to take several during the day if you do.
