I’m glad to hear it got better for you and I’m really hoping so it will for me as well yes I never had it with my first but I’ve just had my second baby and I was bed bound for over two months before having her due to it. I had never even heard of it before and it’s been strongly advised I don’t have a third baby due to the severity of it. That sounds like it was very tough for you as especially with lighting crotch on top. Yes I plan on speaking to them at my six week check up hoping they can help. Oh really thank you I will look into that it sounds like that might at least help.
Yesss it will get better 🙏 I had it for a few weeks in late-ish pregnancy in my pubic area, could barely walk! Resolved itself towards end of pregnancy then randomly returned 5 days pp 🤔 I literally spent a few days sitting on ice packs! Took painkillers & started using witch hazel on my pads. It got better in a week & is mostly fine now (almost 3 weeks pp). Not sure if yours is in the same place as mine from your description but I understand how awful the pain is & would just suggest using heat or cold on the area & taking Ibuprofen. Also I was advised by the midwife to do pelvic floor exercises daily & it was near impossible at first with the pain down there but it seemed to really help within a few days. Hope yours subsides soon 🙏
Thank you that’s good to hear! It really is awful I can’t wait until it goes and I can go around without being in agony I will keep going with the pelvic floor exercises and hope this clears up soon
Hey, I hope it goes well and you find a solution soon!
Thank you fingers crossed!
It got better for me and it definitely may for you! Honestly, pelvic pain is what scares me the most about a second pregnancy. I also had extreme lightning crotch as well. I once nearly drove off the road because the pain overtook me. I’m two years PP: time to time the pain appears but it passes quickly. Just a weird feeling. I would definitely talk to a medical professional though. Let them know and ask them for treatment options. I used a heating pad my in law made for me. Also- pelvic floor therapy (Pilates changed my life)
