It's a myth that formula makes any difference to sleep. My daughter was ebf and she did 5 hour stretches from 6 weeks. Just one night wake. Completely normal to wake in the night until 4 and actually helps prevent SIDS. How old is baby? I found that correct routine/timings was much more likely to improve night wakes.
Completely normal!
Still breastfeeding at 17 months on demand. I work 3 nights a week though and my son sleeps soooo much worse for dad without milk when he wakes. He’s been a horrible sleeper since 4 months old but milk aids us getting more sleep rather than being a barrier to sleep x
I EBF for 7months he didnt sleep through the night, when i switched to formula his sleep didnt change at all he still woke multiple times a night x ik for some people it helped but it didnt make a difference for me Its definitely rough but you’re doing great, do whatever makes you feel better x
I EBF for 9.5 months, we swapped to formula a few weeks back and if anything her sleep is worse 😂
I EBF for 7 months and the only difference I found when we moved to formula was I knew he wasn’t really hungry in the night so we cut the feeds! He slept through for a few nights a week for 3 weeks at 8 months and then sleep has got worse again since
8 months ebf and never slept the night too. I tried to change to formula but she didn’t want to take the bottle
My baby wakes up every 30 min to an hour until 1-2 am to search for the nipple and comfort feed. That’s why I wanted to change to formula
Because she’s not actually hungry just comfort feeding
My sister was ebf for a year. She slept the night at 3 months. I was formula fed and slept the night at 1 month. I think every baby is just different
@Natalie I follow wake windows during the day to avoid my baby getting over tired. Give a bath every night & dim the lights afterwards. Last night I even played too long out the feed and it didn’t help (2 hours in between) Baby is 3 months, is there anything you recommend?
I found out that if I play to long and try to put her to sleep later, she fusses more and fights sleep more. Honestly I don’t know I really just hoped for the best. My baby had reflux so she wasn’t a good sleeper at that age.
Wake windows are different for every baby. So I would follow cues. Cuz my baby doesn’t have the same wake windows as other babies
Both have been formula fed and both are amazing sleepers. Girl slept through from 6 weeks and my boy from 3 months

A lot of 3 month babies still need to feed at night it’s normal. My baby is 8 months and needs 2-3 feeds at night but she wakes up more for comfort.

I found that my daughter slept worse when she'd had a bath before bed. When is bedtime?
My daughter was terrible sleeper until 6 months - she started sleeping after I adjusted her sleep schedule (did loads of reading on baby sleep) and started weaning to solids. She was bottle fed breastmilk up until 4 months, I started formula feeding from 4 months and sleep then become worse (4 month sleep regression). Studies have shown that type of milk doesn’t affect sleep, it’s a myth.
Longest my 9 week boy goes is 5 hours at night but that’s rare!
My 3 month old started to sleep through the night a few days ago. EBF
regular wakeups is totally normal for 3 months, it’s quite rare for babies to sleep through at that age (even though it probs feels like every other baby is)
I formula fed from birth with both… didn’t make a difference to their sleep. My first started sleeping through when she was around 8 months and established on solids. My second is nearly 2yo and still wakes in the night 🫠
