Potty training..

So we are just starting with potty training. My toddler had no interest until about 2 weeks ago. Things are going how you would expect. We do training underwear during the day and she’s going pretty good with pee but we are yet to get a poo in the potty. My question though is about night time and nap time. My girl is already waking to pee. Not everytime but last night she woke twice to pee and just now at nap she woke to pee. But then she doesn’t want to go back to sleep which is frustrating. Is anyone else’s toddler already showing nighttime pee control? Do you limit fluids before bed? I didn’t know she would wake to pee this early on in the potty training journey lol

I would definitely limit liquids before bed like an hour or so, Make sure she's going potty right before you lay her down. My girl has been potty trained for awhile it seems now and she still has accidents in bed once in awhile but has only woke to potty like twice. I try to keep the lights off at night when she pottys to help keep her sleepyyy.

Yes I’ll limit her liquid tonight and see how that goes. We have a dim night light in the bathroom so I don’t turn lights on but she’s still seems to think it’s play time lol but honestly it’s naptime that is harder. She will absolutely not go back to sleep once she wakes up and she is a kid that really needs her nap. She is a holy terror if she misses her nap.

@Molly mine is a nutso also when she doesn't nap, which lately she seems to think she don't need one & im trying not to lose it. & hmm I would think it'd be night time. Definitely limit liquids and potty right before. And I know or I feel like abrupt changes in temperature cause her to have to potty or potty in bed.
