A work colleague was in so much pain and done with pregnancy. She broke down at a consultant meeting , she didn’t really want and induction but it was offered and she accepted just to be done with being pregnant
@Claire i am tempted. i’ve been having growth scans due to GD and i was told that they might want to induce between 38/39 weeks anyway because of GD and depending how big the baby is growing, i’m currently 36+1, and have another growth scan in 2 weeks when ill be 38+1 so i guess ill just have to wait until then to see what they suggest, i cant imagine any of this pain easing off, my pregnancy was not this awful with my first 😢 im scared of an induction due to online saying it increases risk for birthing intervention like forceps, episiotomy etc, but i spoke to my midwife last week about it and she said because ive had a baby and he was a natural vaginal birth, no complications etc she said i should be absolutely fine with an induction and shouldn’t need intervention, it’ll just make everything happen quicker so that’s positive xx
Definitely worth calling triage regarding breathing !! Are you low in iron at all? Sometimes that can cause ‘air hunger’ feeling like you can’t get enough oxygen in.
