Free childcare

Hi! I want to apply for the 15hr free childcare on the GOV website but I cannot seem to confirm my identity. I am from EU with a permanent settlement status, but I do not have UK passport. The other option is credit reference questions but I neither of these apply so I cannot use the services. Can I get my partner to apply for this? He is a UK resident so he would be able to use the passport. Or has any EU mummies manage to apply and can provide some advise? X

Interesting. How old does the child has to be to qualify for the 15 hours? I am EU with perm settlement like you and my partner is British but I’ll definitely like to apply when we are eligible. I’d love free hands to clean our house or have a bath 🫠😛

Your baby has to be 9 months and both you and partner need to be in employment to qualify x

My husband just did it, the he just adds your national insurance number I believe
