If you earn at least £195 (before tax) a week employed or self-employed you will be entitled to 15/30 hours. The 15 free hours for 9 month olds and up, came into force last September. It helped me tremendously. My baby only goes 2 days a week and I would be paying £580 a month but with the 15 hours free I only pay £260 a month. The hours are for working parents from 9 months so will depend on circumstances.
