Labor Help

Can anyone tell me how to get this baby out?! lol I am due April 4th and have been 1cm dilated and 75% effaced since March 24. I am so uncomfortable and ready for him to come out! My next OB appointment is April 10th and she said we would do a membrane sweep if he wasn’t born by then. I’ve been walking, using the pregnancy ball, pumping, literally anything I can do. I have been having contractions here and there but nothing that screams labor. Send help

Honestly, deep cleaning my house put me into labor I think lol but don’t push it! The last thing you want is to be exhausted heading into labor

@Justine I was hoping that would do it for me too lol I have been cleaning like nonstop!

I ate spicy noodles the night before I went into labor.

I went on a long walk and was drinking lots of red raspberry leaf tea

I was the same way. Did absolutely everything I could think of and heard of. Raspberry leaf tea, the ball, curb walking, pumping, etc and nothing helped. Little man just did not want to get out. We just say he was too comfy😂 It was such a relief when he was finally born

Walking on a pebble beach helps to gentle tilt the pelvis and encourage baby to shift lower. If you don't live near a beach a low level aerobic bench would do the trick. Or bouncing on a yoga ball

@Shelby did you have contractions here and there leading up to labor? I think my babe is feeling the same way! Way too cozy and doesn’t want to come out🥲

@Jordan Pfannenstiel some small ones here and there but nothing that was really obvious until about 36 hours before he was born. Then I ended up being in true active labor for 22 hours

@Shelby oh girl… that’s kind of what I’m experiencing! Send some prayers my way lol

Spicy foods, curb walking, sex, I saw someone did jumping jacks another did a handstand haha, dancing

I watched a scary movie in theaters and went into labor hours later🤣

@Emily is there a certain brand you used

@Allison I used mostly the traditional medicinals brand but also Mama earth

You still have time, it may take 2 more weeks :) Try walking uphill and taking stairs! Good luck!

Do some hip openers it will allow the babies to come down more and it will also help you have an easier birth. My favorite is a deep squat if you cannot hold it yourself you can use a chair or have your partner help you. I would do 3 sets of theses for 30 secs
