I’m just introducing my son to it. I have the one that looks like a really potty just little. He won’t sit for long but he will sit so it’s a start.

I read this just this morning and it was a perfect intro to potty training! https://www.lucieslist.com/guides/introduction-to-potty-training/

We just started doing more intense today. We have had her potty out since 12 months and she’ll usually sit and go every day once or every other day. Today we got 4 pees on the potty and like 4 on the floor 😖 It is definitely a process. I’m hoping tomorrow will be better. If not imma give up and try again in 6 months 😅

I am wondering same ! Any tips for potty training?

@Nina we are just going nude all day. She will sometimes say she has to go potty but not always. It’s a lot of trying to get her to sit on the potty long enough. There are times she goes easy (first thing in the morning, after breakfast, after nap) but then the in between times she would rather run around like crazy. She is also learning how to know when she is going to pee so it is all part of the process. We are having more success every day though Stay close while you are potty training and stick them on the potty if they start going. Praise for little things Sing songs, read books, or play with toys to keep them entertained on the potty

I started introducing it a few months ago. I first just introduced her to the word then started sitting her on it before her bath. Eventually when she would pee in it, I’d give her a lot of positive reinforcement. She started to get the hang of it and will now say “potty” when she has to pee or when she has peed or pooped in her diaper. Since she’s in daycare they don’t practice it until they are 2 so I feel like until it’s consistent everyday she won’t be fully trained.
