I’ve just gone self employed and starting a business as a solo cleaner purely for this same reason, it means I can work nursery hours and choose as and when I want to work x
Or could you do some type of job in a school? X
I really couldn’t face going back to work (I worked in a high pressure job where I’d of had to go back full time and travel up and down the country and leave her overnight which I wasn’t willing to do!), I’ve recently opened a franchise in sensory and development music and movement classes for up to 5 year olds so that a family member can bring her to my classes and honestly it’s the best decision I ever made, I absolutely love my job for the first time in my life and I also get to spend more time with my daughter at work and work much shorter hours! It was a pretty big investment so we did need to borrow money to do it but I think finding a job that works round your child can make an astronomical difference to your happiness! I’m happy to recommend the brand that I’m with as they’re all over the country and the MD is such a nice woman so she’s really approachable and helpful at getting things set up x
Depends on your experience! I find part time work from home positions are great. Try filtering for these on job sites. A lot of HR, Admin, marketing and social media management can be remote and part time. Especially for startups.
