My boy is 9 weeks and growing out of his Moses basket very fast, did you move up to a next to me crib or did you just outright start in a cot after the Moses basket? In 2 minds as he’s growing very fast so I’m not sure it would be worth buying a next to me

You could always look for a second hand n2m cot and get a replacement mattress for it to keep costs down, equally it would be fine to move straight into a cot in the same room as you
My lg wouldn’t go in her Moses basket so she’s now in her cot but it’s next to the bed Asif it was a next to me crib

I think a lot of Moses baskets have the same weight limit as next to me cribs which is 9kg, I have a big boy who was 14lb 3 at 9 weeks, never had a Moses basket but will be upsizing our next to me to a crib in the next few months- 11 weeks now
