Elective section booked

I bled straight away.. just like I had a natural birth.

I bled straight away for 6 weeks, stopped for a few days and then got my period

The bleeding does stop randomly and restart more when you’re doing things, i seen when i was more on my feet or say I’d go for a shower the bleeding would start again f

First few days- week really heavy, I’d buy the adult nappies if I was you as it’s really uncomfy

Happens straight away as the bleeding is a result of the placenta being removed from the body and leaving open wound in the womb. I would recommend disposable underwear x

It’s not a given. I’ve had two elective c-sections. I bleed lightly for 48 hours and then it stopped and didn’t start again till I got my actual period 4 months pp. Obviously good to be prepared for any outcome.
