How is everyone getting themselves ready for the day?

Not just themselves but the bottle washing, pumping milk, making sure you have eaten, showering. I don’t have help in the mornings to help feed, change and entertain baby while I get ready so if I chose to sleep the extra hours with the baby I feel like I’m juggling everything throughout the day. I feel overwhelmed sometimes trying to get everything done and I feel bad if I can’t get out for a walk as I need to pump or baby wants to feed earlier or nap, I live in a flat so I have to carry everything down.

Try not to feel bad and too hard on yourself. You're doing the best you can. It's not easy, especially as a first-time mum. Things will get easier, I promise. If you need the extra hours sleep don't feel guilty for that

I snatch a shower during his morning nap (c30 mins, if he lets me put him down) and then it’s usually a case of in the carrier if he’s fussy or in his bouncing chair watching me. His nappy bag is always packed ready, bar bottles, so we can leave the house quickly! It’s so hard though, some days feel like a losing battle and the extra sleep is definitely worth having xx

I just try to take my time and not put stress or pressure on myself, for showering I bring my little one into the bathroom and have him sat on his chair, then I play with him whilst getting ready again in the chair or sat on my knee. It is hard and if I’ve got no time schedule to work on it can be enjoyable if I’ve got somewhere to be it’s a case of throw on my clothes and run. You’re doing amazing just take your time 💕
