Why does baby shiver?
My baby does a quick little shiver/shake randomly. It’s basically like when you are cold or get the goosebumps and have that quick involuntary movement. The room is normal temp so I don’t think she is cold. Sometimes she is excited before or after she does it. Other times she seems tired. Anyone see this? My baby is almost 5 months old.

My son does this as well. I think he does it when he’s excited. I also read it could be when they are overstimulated. I plan to discuss with the pediatrician at our next appt but he seems like his normal self so I’m not too worried about it.
Mine does it too but I thought it was just cos he’s peeing like how we sometimes shiver after we pee lol.
Maybe his diaper went cold after he peed a little bit ago ?
My son and niece did a small shiver just before or after peeing. It’s normal unless it lasts a long time.

Thanks for asking this. My baby does the same thing. The room isn’t cold and he’s not cold. But it’s before or after he’s excited. Sorry I don’t have the answer just wanting to figure it out for myself too lol
