@Rae-Anne THANK YOU. this makes me feel better .. my mom was only able to nurse me until i was 3mo and she only had me so she compares me sleeping alone at 3 months to my son and she gets frustrated that he can’t fall asleep alone yet but like .. he’s a totally different baby 😢 it stresses me out but i try to remember that it’s completely normal. i feel like as a society a lot of people just expect this of babies and it’s a wicked heavy load on me mentally
My almost 4 year old still wants me next to him while he falls asleep! Totally normal and shows you’re giving good support. He’ll thank you by having a secure attachment style when he gets older 💗 Good job, momma!!!

My baby can’t fall asleep without rocking either. And it’s hard for her to stay asleep… still dealing with 2+ wake ups at night

You're def not alone. I'm right with you mama. As I am writing this he just fell asleep from nursing. We still cosleep. My does the shame game too but I feel she's jealous bc she didn't get to do it and she had 4 chances.
Actually, some kids go to age 4 still needing some type of reassurance going to sleep. Also, he's still breastfed. Of course he's gonna wanna eat at night
