Depo injection
Has anyone been on the injection and just randomly started bleeding with blood clots?
I started in November last year and have not had any bleeding or a period since. I was on it before I had my last child and never bled then either.
I just thought it was weird for me to randomly bleed like this.

@Kelly I’ve only been on it 6 months so I’m really shocked that I’ve started bleeding. Might just get checked just because of the clots because they are quite big.
Oh bless you, yes definitely get it checked with your GP. It might be worth taking a pic if possible so they can see x

I was on the depo previously too and never had any issues but I have had bleeding twice in the last 6m where it lasted a few weeks each time. I went to the GP and they didn’t seem too concerned but they did do some tests just because I previously had a cervical cancer diagnosis. I would say if it happens again then contact them. They do say to only be on it for up to two years so may be worth changing contraception x
