Show your support

Get a pillow and hold it against your stomach when you cough and sneeze

Have you tried the support bands? Are you keeping on top of pain meds regularly? Make sure you use things to help you sit up / get up etc, don’t just strain yourself. Your core is essential buggered for a little while so the extra support to get up will really help. X

Are you wearing a band? My doctor had me wearing something that looked like a waist trainer, but it wasn’t as tight, but it really helped with the support of a C-section because it just held everything together.

@Toya Yes! This!

You should try a stomach binder that helped me with my c section when first putting it on it hurts a little but you’ll notice how much relief you get when putting it on(: I can share the link to the binder I used if you like

How long ago did you have your surgery? Also, have you been taking your painkillers regularly on the dot?

I used a dish rag to hold my stomach when getting up, sitting down, walking, coughing, sneezing, everything

Regular pain relief helped me so much unless I coughed or sneezed. I used a small cushion

How long ago did you have your section?
