Normal sleep?

Does anyone else’s baby sleep like this? I know movement is normal; It’s just the rapid movements and thrashing of head

Really normal, it’s usually when they’re in a light sleep stage / moving between sleep cycles.

Aaah thank you; it just worries me how quick he twists his head 😬 and arms always flying all over the show 🤣

Literally just watched my little girl do this on the monitor 😂 it’s normal and just part of their sleep cycle/self soothing technique

I worried about this a few weeks back but it turns out the head moving is a way of them getting themselves back to sleep between cycles. My baby was doing it so much she was hitting her head on the side of her next to me and I had to take her out of it!

Every. Single. Night. 😂😩

Yes, my LO does it every 30 mins at night and this is the reason why she wakes up a lot. I usually hold her or give boobs to help her back to sleep :( and it’s so exhausting at night. Thanks to this post now I know she tries to connect sleeps cycles.

Yeah my daughter does, I believe it’s also a way of self soothing

Yep, head thrashing side to side every night! He's started doing it to self soothe, my daughter also tossed her head side to side to self soothe! Funny little things 🤣
