I had zero side effects while on domperidone and when weaning off. You have to be consistent with it, so you'll have to set an alarm to make sure you're taking it, otherwise it's essentially a waste of you're forgetting it. You have to keep the level in your body stable for its effects to work the best. It doubled my supply but my supply was very low so I went for 6oz to 12oz a day. It works exceptionally well for some and not much for others, it's very personal. In my opinion, I would try it but if you don't see an increase worth your time after a month, wean off and come to terms with your journey being a low level producer. Any amount breast milk is amazing for your baby!
@GMF yes I have. I bought a whole new pump and switched it out. Come to think of it, it's been a couple months though. But I didn't want to buy another one if I'm stopping. Maybe I should anyways! Thank you for reminding me
@Lisa thank you! Okay yeah, maybe I should try it for a month and see what happens.
I was never pregnant, and wanted to produce for my baby born via surrogate. I take dom and make about 8oz a day. It works. Have had no side-effects other than milk.
@Erica if you’re exclusively pumping you’d need to change out duckbill valves and backflow protectors fairly often. If you only pumped 3x/day you’d change duckbill valves once a month and backflow protectors once every three months, so you’d want to change out much more often than that.
Just checking that you’ve changed your pump parts recently? And re-checked flange size?
