How to stop breast pumping

I go back to work on the 14th and don’t want to deal with breast pumping at work. It’s just too much of a headache honestly. But I’m not sure how to *stop* breast pumping. I assume I can’t do it cold turkey? I leak too much if I go too long without pumping. Do I just space it out longer and longer until I don’t need to anymore? My grandma thought there’s a pill you can take to dry you up, but idk about that 😅

I thought there was a pill too haha I’m not sure actually 🫣 but I also wanna know lol I want to stop in a couple months when I start student teaching bc I don’t think teachers would like their interns pumping around their elementary school students as it may cause a distraction 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Chloe I get that! I’m a middle school teacher and I think it’d be kind of awkward to tell my students mid lesson that I need to go pump. 😆

Cabbage in the bra. But ultimately you just have to stop. 🛑 gradually the milk will reabsorb and stop producing. But avoid any breast/nipple stimulation. You have to weather the pain of engorgement for about a week

Cabbage really works. I was unfortunately hospitalized shortly after giving birth and the facility I was in even recommended it to me.
