Same here. First baby so not sure how I will feel or look like. But I am trying not to stress about it, you can go back to your pre pregnancy body, a lot of people do. Just let your body heal and when you ready you can go back to your routine x
I'm five weeks postpartum and I thought I would be a lot more self conscious than I actually am. Expect to leave the hospital still looking 6 months pregnant, but you'll be surprised at how fast your bump disappears. It will take a minimum of 6 weeks for your uterus to shrink down to you'll look a little swollen and soft but honestly, you'll look almost back to normal in some supportive leggings. You just need to be kind to yourself
Everyone's journey is different.. Im 12 days PP and my remaining bump is minimal, I also am 1st 5lb less than my pre-pregnancy weight. Sure everything is different but it's not necessarily worse
You’ll get you’re old body back don’t worry. I felt the same when I was pregnant! I was 8 stone 4 when I got pregnant and was nearly 12 stone when I gave birth. I’m now 4 months pp and back to my original weight but I do go to the gym 5 times a week and walk 15k steps daily xx
Not shallow at all, mine went down in the first couple of weeks a good amount and then has plateaued a bit. I haven't done any exercise for context and I'm 6months pp. And 1 size up in jeans from my pre baby body but the mindset that has helped me is it took 9months for your body to grow so give it at least 9months to settle back postpartum x
I have suffered with body image ever since I started model. So I know exactly how you feel. I’m only in my 14th week and think about body changes a lot. All I know is at the moment my body isn’t my body, it’s my babies body, which is helping them grow and be healthy. When my baby is born I will be making time to workout (once I’m ready). If you want something hard enough, you’ll make it happen. That’s the way I think, anyway. You’re not alone lovely! 🥰
