Question for exclusive pumpers

How much breastmilk do you feed your baby per feed / a day? My baby is EBF but I’m thinking of moving away from that and pumping and bottle feeding during the day but I’m worried I don’t pump enough? When I breastfeed it’s obviously enough because he gains weight, has dirty nappies etc but when I pump it just seems like so little Please say in ml bc I don’t understand oz😂

My baby fatigues very quickly at the breast, even after a frenectomy to release his oral ties, so he only breastfeeds once in the morning and then I pump all day. I pump about 1200-1400 mL per day if he doesn’t breastfeed all bc sometimes he’s just not feeling it’s he takes about 1100-1200 mL per day, 150-180 mL at a time. Your pumping capacity should be the same if not more than breastfeeding. I have a spectra and it’s great. There are lots of things you can do to increase your milk supply, but if you pump frequently, it’ll go up

When I first switched to exclusive pumping I did have to top up with formula due to low supply, but the regularity of pumping quickly increased it up to being able to give solely bm The amount really varies based on age as well as your baby's appetite , takes some trial and error but you'll figure it out as you go based on milk left behind/asking for more.

You can calculate how much your baby needs based on weight (although the chart changes as they get older). I think generally 2.5 X their weight= the number of oz when they are under 6 months

I've been pumping exclusively since a few days after birth as my LO had issues latching. I currently get 1100-1400ml per day, my LO has roughly 700-950ml each day. LO is 11 weeks tomorrow and was advised that he should have 150-200ml per KG of bodyweight x
