@Jessica I’m 3 weeks. Do you think it’s normal?
I am four weeks now and I also find it all getting a bit easier day by day now very slowly but surely and less overwhelming.
I think it would be really important to let your health visitor and GP know how you’re feeling. This isn’t normal and there’s definitely lots of help out there xxx
I am in the first week and my goodness i feel you girl... Day 3 I sobbed uncontrollably. I hated my partner throughout pregnancy but since little one has arrived, he has stepped up and i love that But going out riddles me with anxiety. I managed an hour round the bowling green last night and I couldn't get back home quick enough. Putting her in the car seat, sorting the pram - total mental block as im not practical so I have leaned on my partner to do this but I know i need to learn. I am used to being fiercely independent and at nearly 40, have had years of doing things my way and being in control. My midwife came today and gave me the best pep talk ever.... could you lean on someone you trust for a chat maybe? X
Almost 6 weeks pp and I'm feeling this right now. Exhausted, tired all the time, having really bad brain fog and can't think or concentrate on anything. My bub just did a feed with me where he was coming unlatched repeatedly and then getting upset and punching me in the breast - I burst into tears. The stress feels like it's too much.
Not sure how far along you are pp? If you’re still in the first week, please know it’s sooooo normal to think and feel all of these things!!🫶💗im 3 weeks pp and day by day things are feeling better, but man that 1st week was fully in the trenches with my emotions and thoughts xxx
