Moving to bottle
My son is currently Ebf but with me returning to work soon I want to start transitioning to a bottle. Tried a few times with expressed milk and even a bottle of formula as he was refusing the bottle but nothing is working. Any advice would be great as my 1st transitioned straight away. Xx

My first never took a bottle. He had water and solids at nursery and breastfeeds when he was with me. He started nursery at 9 months and I initially sent him in with a bottle of expressed breast milk every day but he never really drank it so I stopped bothering. The breastfeeds he had when with me were perfectly sufficient. I was also worried that my breasts would leak in work and I’d have to pump as I was used to breastfeeding on demand throughout the day but this never happened. So sorry not actually advice to get him to take the bottle but just saying that there is another way if they really won’t take it. They could also have EBM or formula in an open or straw cup x
