It’s a rip off tbh considering how expensive it is, paying when they close is a rip off. You already pay when your child can’t go due to illness which close to half the time
Our nursery closes for a week over Christmas, bank holidays and then they have 2 inset days for staff training. We also don't get charged for these as it's the nurseries decision not to be open. Personally I don't think it's right for them to charge you for their closure days, it would be different if you took your LO out of nursery for holiday though, as your payment secured their place x
@CeeCee do you still get charged during closures?
@Jay right!!
@A yeah our fees are the same every month
Ours closes for Christmas and bank holidays x
Ours only close for Christmas Eve (half day)/ Christmas Day and Boxing Day and bank holiday Mondays x
Our nursery only closes the pre school room partially during school holidays because children on term time only funding may only attend during term so it gives staff the chance to take some time off but they are still open for the children who attend all year round. Ours don’t open on bank holidays and they close for the 3 days in between Xmas and new year and they don’t charge for these days at all.
Ours closes for bank holidays, over Christmas and one week during summer holidays but we are not charged if we take little one out during school holidays only term time.
Ours is closed for 1 week at Christmas, 1 week at easter and 2 weeks in August and then also has the odd inset day.
My daughters is closed over bank holidays, Easter and Christmas. Although last year they asked if we needed them over Christmas I said no so the girls could have time off as they are brilliant with my daughter! X
