Hot shower as hot as you can handle. While I’m in the shower I massage my breast, and I know it’s a waste but I try to squeeze out as much milk as I can so it’s less painful to breastfeed or pump afterword. I hear taking sunflower lectin helps but I personally have never tried it

Massage massage massage!! Hot shower and massage boobs, apply a hot flannel and massage. I had the same and it developed to mastitis. In the end an electric pump is what helped most.

Massage and hand express. Feed baby on the clogged duct first then the other breast

I had to do multiple pump sessions to get them down when I was fresh pp always wake up to my milk coming in and they'll rock hard

Babies are the best at removing blocked milk ducts (in my experience) just keep feeding on that side, just making sure your other boob doesn't become too full! And massage breast at affected area while feeding! If you start to feel unwell I'd contact your health provider for antibiotics.

Ibuprofen and ice pack, not hot!!! Look at La Leche League info, they do not recommend hot or massage! If you pump too much you may increase your supply so go easy!

If you can, gently massage backwards from the nipple kind of like reverse expressing to release the flow a bit

Don’t panic!!! Remember, the more you pump the more milk you will make which will lead to over supply- this will only last another day or so, it’s just your milk learning to regulate. Hand expressing the shower and Ibruprofen! Or, boob the baby to the boob to relieve the pain!

Don’t worry, they’re trying to even out for your newborn baby. Hot showers and warm compress , don’t pump past 10-20 each boob because they can remain engorged and just keep filling back up, thinking it’s baby. You can even look into the Frida mom kit for Boobs helped me a lot

Massage and pump!!

New advice is ice not hot showers anymore!!
