Milk supply

Hi ladies! My baby is 12 weeks old and I feel like we have been struggling with breastfeeding. We were told at 6 weeks she was too small and to supplement with formula which I have been doing. Since then she’s latched amazing on the boob (previously had to use nipple shields) but she’s feeding on me constantly literally every hour in the day and still giving me hunger cues ones she’s done. I am drinking 3L a day and trying to have good nutrition. Im trying to pump in between when I get a break but I’m not sure what more I can do 😔 any tips would be great. 🙏🏻

Sounds like cluster feeding to me, absolutely normal it’s just a ordering in service where she is telling your body to produce more milk by stimulating :) just continue to keep latching her on when she wants too ❤️❤️❤️

Coconut water, wild nutrition breastfeeding support supplements, flax seeds, oats. Make sure your pump flange is the right size and best to use hospital grade like spectra vs a wearable

Unfortunately no food or supplements will make a difference in your supply! That’s all marketing to get you to spend money. The only thing that will work is nipple stimulation so keep doing what you’re doing, cluster feeding will increase your supply anyways and if you have time you can try a power pump session in the evening X

I mean my 17 week old feeds quite often during the day 1.5 - 3 hours, sometimes more often. Way less at night though. And my baby is 95 pre entire, so clearly getting enough milk. Some babies just feed a lot. If you’re hoping to switch to only breastfeeding then having her eat often is great and will help with supply, so can pumping the other breast while she feeds. Basically feeding and pumping often is the only way to get supply up.

Cluster feeding for sure, just feed feed feed. It will all settle down once supply is where baby needs it x

This happened to me mine kept feeding I was thinking he’s not getting enough but it’s normal don’t let any one tell you different there are so many people with advice. Just stay hydrated and feed even tho it feels constant :)
