I am the slimest I have been since college while breastfeeding and eating the most I have eaten all my life.
I lost loads of weight before Christmas and put it all back on at Christmas 🤦♀️😂 I ate at least 1500 calories a day and make sure I kept my water intake higher. While breastfeeding you burn around 500 calories extra a day just trying to make the milk. So go for a calories deficit and work on building lean muscles and you'll get there. I'm 11 months PP and trying to get back to my pre pregnancy weight
I lost 10 pounds while breastfeeding and still remaining an oversupplier. I’m almost 6 months pp so the weight loss didn’t happen overnight. But I focus on what I eat. I eat more whole foods. I haven’t focused on protein goals or anything like that. I also only workout 3 times a week, 1 cycle class and 2 yoga classes. Since the weather has been nice where I live most days and I live in a walkable city, I try to take a walk with my baby everyday. I don’t focus on length just more to get out the house. I also drink lots of water at least a gallon a day. Hope this helps! Just remember every body is different and don’t be too hard on yourself. You brought life into this world and your body is keeping that life alive. ❤️
I’ve slowly lost 12 lbs over the past 5 months while exclusively breastfeeding and my supply has not gone down. Im counting this from 3 months pp because I didn’t consider the weight I lost right away part of that. I was stuck at 182 for quite some time and I’m now down to 170. I’m not doing anything specific to try to lose weight although I want to get back to my pre pregnancy weight I’m really prioritizing my supply. I still have 10 lbs to go to get there. One thing that really helped me was the fact my son has a dairy allergy so I have been dairy and soy free for 6 months. It has created much healthier habits and I eat very little processed foods. I still eat 3 meals a day and usually a snack, lots of protein. I try to limit sugar/sweets.. seems to be working in a slow steady way. Also I work full time so working out is difficult, I do hot yoga once a week other than that try to strength train twice a week and walk. I also take moringa supplements for supply.
I lost so far 5kg while breastfeeding in 4 months. I wasn’t trying for the first couple of months though, but it’s more a slow and steady process at the moment. Mainly cause I do like my snacks 😅
I went dairy free and soy free. I didn’t have the money for the expensive dairy free ice cream and I wasn’t eating cheese like I usually do. I ended up being 175 (before I gained 10 back when I went back to eating dairy) when pre pregnancy I was 197
I lost all my baby weight and more while breastfeeding and I ate as much as I liked! I've recently stopped feeding at 3.5 years and I'm still eating but slightly healthy and try do bit exercise every week and I'm slightly smaller than I was before I got pregnant
I'm not directly dieting or exercising, but i am trying to be a little more active, dancing and walking and being outside. I also have been trying to eat a little bit healthier and stopped drinking so much soda
Im starting my calorie journey tomorrow im hoping my supply stays the same
I've lost 3 stone whilst breastfeeding. I've found as long as you're still drinking tons of water your supply shouldn't be affected. It's best to eat three healthy meals and have a few small snacks/treats and get your walking on! X
I’ve lost nearly 2 stone breastfeeding and I eat none stop x
I don’t really do anything different I just eat a lot of healthier stuff because I breastfeed. I cut out pop, fast food, etc.
I have lost almost 7kgs and I’m 3 months postpartum exclusively breastfeeding. I am eating the most I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’ve only just started exercising again but that’s to build my muscle not lose weight. I am conscious of what I’m putting in my mouth but still snacking and eating ‘junk’ food too. It’s very difficult to eat 2500 calories a day without eating junk food lol so I’m eating all of the stuff and still losing weight I think it’s all about balance. Can’t have only junk ❤️ listening to my body and eating whatever is available when I’m hungry. Lots of cheese, protein and veg.
High protein and low calories!! I am the slimiest I’ve been since high school, I was 210 right before I gave birth to my first and I’m now 134. My supply is maintained as long as u have enough protein and water. I usually freeze 6 oz a day too. Breastfeeding burns 500 calories a day so it’s like a big workout!

Some women naturally loose weight when BF, some don't. If you're wondering about dieting, you should do it very gently as a drastic calorie cut can affect your supply
I have no idea how. I eat rubbish but I think it's just that my daughter won't fall asleep without being rocked. So every nap time I rock her using my whole body.
