Labour near?

I’m 40+1 today and have had on and off period cramping for about 1.5 weeks. The last two days they’ve been accompanied by twinges in my vagina, mild headaches and my back feeling weak. I also think I’m getting a lot of tightenings but baby is so active and loves pushing his bum out so it’s really hard to tell! Has anyone had similar? I wondered if it means I’m dilating even if I’m not in labour yet.
