I've heard that milestones can be later with preemies, that they can actually come around the time they would have if baby would've been born full term.

I had mine at 35 weeks and she’s pretty on track for everything

35 week old boy was 4 pounds 5oz honestly just his weight he is a spunky very at age if not a little ahead in some areas 3 year old!

I also had a 35 week premie. He was 8 lbs, 11oz. He's also been right on track with milestones since birth, not starting from his due date. I think it depends on the baby though!

My nicu doctors and physical therapist told me there isn’t really going to be a timeline for milestones. Of course considering my daughter was born at 26 weeks so that may be different for a preemie born at 36 weeks. My daughter was in the nicu for 80 days fighting and learning how to breathe while some babies were learning how to bottle feed. She is now 4m old but also 1m adjusted age. She is still learning to keep her head up and not choke while drinking her milk

@Lili did you type a number wrong on the weight? An 8 pound 35 week baby? My 39 week baby was 8.3
