I sat myself up too soon and pushed to hard, ended up with a belly button hernia, got to have operation on it somepoint, exercising all body but gentle on my core C section was hell for me first few weeks after too, the first poo, make sure you get stool softeners, I never asked, they never offered, took me days to get it out, it was like pooing a brick literally came out that size and so hard and painful. My baby boy wa shorn ten days before Christmas so I was in the Christmas spirit and it helped me to be happy and reviver lots of food around me family around and fun. It does get easier like Elizabeth said, just look after yourself rest and enjoy your baby ✨
The first 3 days were the worst, then the pain gradually started to reduce, but it took about 2 weeks until I could feel better without topping up on ibuprofen or paracetamol. Then week 2-4 were painful to walk fast or walk for long. And by week 6 things mainly got back to normal (still no exercise or lifting anything heavy, but no pain getting up from the bed, leaning to pick up the baby etc.) It'll gradually get better, just don't push your body too much. You got this! 💪
I second the above, you’re probably looking about 2 weeks before you begin noticing day by day things get easier x
2 weeks for me were so painful, I am on 2 weeks + 3 and I’m sore but I can do most things. The times I notice I’m sore if I have done too much, had the baby on me for too long or walk for long periods (when we’ve gone to the shops etc). I am definitely not recovered but can see a light at the end of the tunnel for sure!! I suffered really bad with my back too the first two weeks!! The main thing is my skin above the scar is uncomfortable and tender which again is not painful just annoying and uncomfortable
I’m not going to lie the first 2 weeks were hell for me, I could barely sit up to get out of bed but after that it got better day by day, my little girl is 3 months old now and I’m more or less back to myself ❤️ I know it’s so hard for you right now but it does get better x
