I don’t have a wedding ring, but I have body jewelry and that shit stayed in.. now I’m curious 👀

I had my first back in Jan 2024 and I don’t remember if I was even wearing it to begin with since my water broke at night before bed but I would’ve wanted to take it off anyway just incase my fingers swell or bc I was gripping onto the bed rails

Depends on hospital but they do it due to swelling during labor and delivery and they don’t want any jewelry to get caught during that could cause you more harm, csections they may make you remove all jewelry as well like most surgical procedures do. I personally already swelled too much to wear mine anyway. I feel bad haha cuz they ask my husband if he’s my bf

I haven't been able to wear mine for months due to swelling. I wear a silicone band instead.

With my first they didn’t say anything about removing jewelry. They only had me remove it when they were preparing me to possibly have a c-section.

I took them off on my own, they never mentioned them. I did end up swelling up a bit postpartum but it was just my own precaution 😊

They never made me remove anything except my pants and underwear and gave me a gown. Shit I think I still had my bra on for a bit until I was like nope I’m pulling it all off! 😂 if you’re going to have a c section yeah they’ll probably tell you to take it off

I had didn’t have any rings with my first but they made me take out my tongue ring so I imagine it depends on the hospital
