Shaving

Mine is right above the area I would normally shave. I'm 5 almost 6 weeks pp and haven't shaved yet. I'm going to wait til after my 6 week check up on Thursday. see what they say

5wks pp, just finally shaved. That was interesting 😳 I was just very gentle and barely went over the scar, so I can’t say it was like perfect but I feel so much better lol good luck, I know the feeling

@Kylie would you have considered it at 3 weeks or no 😬 did you have any pain or anything?

Personally at 3wks no, however I was healing greatly and my two week appt went great, I was still just so numb that I would’ve been too afraid to. Today was scary but I’m a lot less numb, no pain just things feels differently ya know lol

@Kylie I’m still completely numb I can’t feel a thing but I was thinking that might be a good thing 😂 I think I should hold off for another week or two and embrace the all natural look lol

Trust me, it was so hard for me too, I’m a complete naked kinda girl and any hair bothers me so it was a struggle to wait but I’m glad I did now, maybe at-least one more week unless you just can’t take it lol

I didn’t shave until i’d stopped bleeding, so about 6 weeks

I remember last year my first shave after c section it was around 5 weeks, it went OK during the actual shave i was so so gentle but the next day I had a bit of a reaction by my scar not on just near, and it was burning like a bitch for about a week. Your skin is quite sensitive in that area atm so please wait it out. I know its horrible but trust me. Give it until your around 8 weeks pp xx

@Catherine I’ve already had an infection which lasted a week and a half so I don’t want to irritate it further, and that was horrific in itself. Thank you for your advice, I will definitely wait it out 😁

I left a little ‘fringe’ until I was confident the scar was fully healed - looked hilarious really but I didn’t feel fresh without a shave 🙈
