Epidural

Loved my epidural.

For my first and second I had an epidural it didn't work as well with my second as it did with my first child but it did eventually kick in and help.

I recommend them, and I'm going to try natural again this time.

I've had 5 kids and I've had an epidural with all of them. it's amazing but I can tell you it difference from pregnancy to pregnancy. with my last it didn't work

@Naoto HarleyWhen @Tiffanysay it didn’t work, do you mean you couldn’t feel its effectiveness?

Would you guys say you had after effects of it long term?

I had the epidural with all 3 of my children. The last child is the only one I had problems with getting the epidural. The anesthesiologist stuck me too far in my back and cause me to be semi paralyzed for about 3 months. I had a spinal fluid leak. I am fine now though.

I plan to. My epidural didn’t work the first time and I had very difficult and painful labor-baby was op and pushed continuously for 3 1/2 hours lol. That said, I do plan to get it again, sometimes it’s just in the right spot. I didn’t have any issues afterwords with it. Doctor said sometimes people get “hot spots” where the epidural basically just doesn’t work. Not sure any of that’s proper terminology but it seems to be random occurrence
