C-section Pre-op
Hi, could someone walk me through what happens at the pre-op? Have mine booked day before C-section and can’t find childcare for my 4 year old (grandparents flying that day)… husband doesn’t start his leave until day of C-section 🫣

So I had my pre op appointment a couple of weeks ago. I just needed blood tests, to do a urine sample, take a test for MRSA and then the anesthetist came to speak me through what happens on the day and if I have any questions. It took about 30 to 60 mins in total.
Blood tests, mrsa swabs, bp, went through some paperwork. Took around 20 minutes

I have my pre op today and as far as I’m aware it’s just a blood test for me today, I was sent home yesterday with a tablet I have to take the day before and the day of the op. I also did a swab test in the hospital. If anything else happens today I’ll reply on here. Good luck mama. I’m so nervous but will have my baby girl here on Friday x
