Tips for weaning baby off the boob?

My son has recently turned 1 and I think I am ready to stop breastfeeding.. he is constantly on me in the night and I’m ready to get back some sleep. I’d also like to stop before we go away end of May but I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice on how they transitioned to the bottle only? Some people do it so quick within days and I just don’t know where to start. Like in the morning it’s so easy to just give them the boob as soon as he wakes, would I then have to just quickly go down and make a bottle instead? Or in the day he always goes on the boob at least 10 times even if it’s for a minute or so, how do I make a bottle that many times? If anyone can help with any of that that would be great 😅 Thanks!

My LG spent the day at my MILs and stayed overnight having bottles. When I picked her up in the morning she didn’t wonna know the boob. Wasn’t fussed that I was there like she used to where she’d be climbing all over me pulling my top down😂she was just happy to finish her bottle off. Once they get used to the bottle they won’t have that many she stopped at 10 months and was happy to have 3 bottles a day we’ve now transitioned to cows milk and she has 1 bottle before bed which I’ll be stopping when I get the courage😂I did notice she wanted her dummy a lot more tho so if he uses one then beware of that xx

I am not planning to introduce the bottle, but also hoping to wean just after 1 My son wasn’t taking a bottle form two months as well. Currently I started giving him formula in a straw cup before bed, honestly I just use ready made bottles because it’s just once a day. I would still give him boob after formula though, cause he doesn’t drink too much. After he turns one, I am just planning to replace both feeds (morning and evening) with cows milk in a straw cup Night feeds are harder. Currently trying to settle him with some water in a sippy cup. It works down time, but I still breastfeed 1-2 times at night. I guess night feeds I will just have to stop and hope he adjust

My little girl is EBF and starts nursery next week. I’ve been trying to reduce day feeds to keep the overnight ones for a bit whilst she settles. I wouldn’t necessarily transition to a bottle or formula as they don’t need it from one. She has water and hopefully will soon forget. She’s started messing around quite a lot and climbing whilst feeding so I just hope we can reduce gradually.
