I had my show on the Tuesday and contractions started that night. I had contractions around 9 mins apart until the following Friday and then my waters broke and had baby on the Saturday morning
I had my bloody show on Monday and had baby on Saturday morning
@Gaby was it 36 hours non stop contractions in the first stage for you or did they sort of come and go?x
For maybe the first 18 hours they would come and go. One moment they were every 7 minutes, then every 9 minutes, then they stopped. Then I got in bed and they’d start again with zero regularity, 5 minute gap, 11 minute gap, 7 minutes…. It was my first time and I had no clue what was happening so it wound me up. I was thinking I had no clue whether it was happening or what. Isn’t pregnancy a hoot!
@Gaby sounds so similar to what I’m experiencing! I’m hoping things pick back up again and in turns into actual labour. My date date is this Friday and I have a sweep scheduled so worst case maybe that will push things along abit 😅
Everyone will have a different answer for this. Could be weeks, days or hours. For me it was 36 hours with my first. More like five hours with my second. Good luck 🍀
