I would deffo reduce slowly maybe dropping by 15/30 mins at a time and brining bedtime forward to compensate.
@Natalie It IS 4 pm that is the enemy! 🤣🤣 thank you! Wish me luck 😩
@Danielle thank you! I thought this was best bc taking it out completely will mean he’s really tired early on and a big change in routine
@Sabba it definitely is. My daughter tried to doze off in the car back last night at 4.30/5. You best believe the minute my hubby got home with her she was woken up. Waking her from a nap early caused chaos so we never did that.
@Natalie yeah waking him from a nap is never fun this side too I get a cranky monster for an hour or so but then he’s fine they are so temperamental 😭😭🤣🤣
@Sabba definitely. I definitely prefer the not had a nap grumpy than the cranky monster woken from a nap.
My son has stopped napping completely - it started with alternating days (on his own volition) before it dropped completely and as a result earlier bedtime.
My daughter stopped napping at nursery but still napped at home. Once it impacted bedtime sleep it just went (she decided tbh once we got rid of the dummy) Earlier bedtimes for the first 3 days or so. Always keep them entertained and busy at about 4pm cos that's the lull where they try to danger nap.
