C sections worries

Hey 👋, I had my c section on Monday I was so nervous but it couldn’t of gone any better , the lovely drs around me they calmed me down and helped me to relax he came safely at 5pm that night , I didn’t feel a thing throughout the whole experience just advise you to take your time with the recovery and keep on top of your medication and you will be fine definitely would do it again if I was to have any more children in the future , just the whole waiting game that was frustrating for me so definitely bring something to keep you occupied while you wait 🥰🥰

Hello, I had a c section 28/03 after a failed induction and the surgical team made it a great experience! I didn’t feel a thing, other than the tugging sensation and the spinal block was painless. They will make sure you feel as comfortable as possible and won’t begin until you’re numb (they used an ice cold spray to check). Highly recommend taking your own music in, as we picked the song he was born to and the student midwife took tons of videos and photos. Overall, a really positive experience and I didn’t feel any pain! ☺️ You will feel tender once the spinal block wears off, but they’ll keep you topped up on pain medication. I’m almost 2 weeks post section and still taking it easy, but I don’t need pain medication anymore. Be easy on yourself! Xx

I had an emergency C-section last week, totally unexpected, and as someone who never wanted a C-section it was something that scared me a bit. The team were AMAZING though , I did have to do a bit of breath work to help myself relax but the staff also majorly helped to calm me and make me feel safe. By the time it was under way the only thing that mattered was seeing my baby and it was over so fast. I have no regrets and would have no fear going in again. It all went super smooth and recovery has been easier than I expected too. Good luck! Once it's happening you'll just be excited to meet the little one ❤️

I had mine on Tuesday, I was so scared and nervous but everyone was so lovely and calm which put me at ease and as soon as my baby was born the rest of it flew by and before I knew it I was in recovery and I was sent home the next day :) good luck x
