Boy mom question

My son (2 weeks) keeps peeping up his back and having blow outs no matter the type of diaper. Any thoughts on reasons why ??

up the diaper size

Try millimoon diaper , they make it so that it’s long in the back , up a size in this diaper

If he had a circumcision and you’re putting petroleum jelly on his diaper to keep it from sticking, you are water proofing the diaper. Also make sure his thing is pointed down into the diaper and not up and out.

Leaking/blowouts are indicators that you need to up a size!

Mama bear from Amazon only brand I use. Also make sure his penis is pointed down

Make sure the ruffles are out all around the legs. We had to do a lot of trial and error when my son was a newborn to find diapers that fit his body type well. Like 6 different brands or something. Honest brand worked well for him - tall and lean body type.

it's definitely the daiper size. my son had the same issue. We sized up from newborn to '1' and switch from huggies to millie moon. I never had a blowout or pee up the back since

My first son would pee up his back every single diaper so I had to learn quick hahaha - Make sure you pull out the wings on the side of the diaper every single time, and ALWAYS point the weenie down! Also make sure the diaper is high enough in the back. Are you using size 1? We skipped NB and went straight to 1s. 😊 My second son hasn’t peed out once!

We had this issue when my baby was just 1-2 weeks old as well. Our issue was that we weren’t making the straps tight enough, and we needed to point his penis downwards. We had it pointing up, and the since the straps were loose, the pee went right up and down his back.

This is sooo helpful I just ordered size 1 to size up! It doesn’t help that he hates getting his diaper changed but I will make sure to incorporate all these tips !!

Thanks soo much

Newborn diapers are the worst! Pampers are a horrible newborn diaper brand... size 1 works much better!

Is it more than 8 diapers that are blowouts he may have a protein milk Allergy you can change your diet or formula if your baby does formula

Just solved this issue for myself! Just up his diaper size
