Yes. Same - I was never a stomach sleeper , but just listen to your body.
I am now at 3mths. Probably have been since about 2
I gradually did it. Like put one leg more to the side and did was felt comfortable and slowly explored how far I could go as I healed and just listened to my body if it didn’t feel right. You’ll get there ❤️
I was a belly sleeper and just slept on it 8 weeks pp. I did have some discomfort but the 2nd night I tried it, it was much better. It was my boobs that started to hurt because I’m pumping + formula feeding and I don’t pump as frequent overnight 😣
I've always been a belly sleeper and I was back to it about 3-4 weeks post op. Whenever you are comfortable is totally fine.
@Tess I did same 😩
Honestly if it’s comfortable for you, you could probably start right away. The issue isn’t really how you sleep but getting into position!
I can only really sleep on my belly, I hate other positions. I felt fine after 3 weeks to go back to belly sleeping after my C section!
I could comfortably do it about 3-4 weeks after but it wasn’t nice with breastfeeding. I was just leaning on the bedding and sore chest.
Took me two weeks
i think it really depends on how you're feeling, but for me, it was a few months before i could comfortably sleep on my belly again... just listen to your body! this is what the 'Heal App' mentioned… hope it helps! "After a C-section, it's generally recommended to wait at least 6 to 8 weeks before sleeping on your stomach. This allows your incision to heal properly and reduces the risk of discomfort or complications. Many women find that they can gradually return to belly sleeping after this period, but it's important to listen to your body and ensure you feel comfortable. Have you been experiencing any discomfort or concerns with your recovery that might affect your sleeping position?"
Never a belly sleeper but I think it's just once your comfortable doing so!
