Tax free child care

Please can someone explain how it works??? if I pay money into my daughter’s tax free childcare account can the nursery take the payment from there? My daughters starting nursery soon and the nursery use an app and it says I can add a payment method on there but I’ve already paid into the tax free childcare account I’m so confused any help would be appreciated xx
