LO hates men!
Does anyone else’s baby seem to hate men? My baby girl is 7.5 months and seems to be scared of all men except for my partner (her dad) and I don’t know what to do about it! I want her to be able to be looked after by my dad without worrying, my mum passed away a few years ago so it’s just him now and he’s feeling quite worried about the idea of looking after her one day a week when I’m back at work because she cries every time he holds her or if I leave her in a room with him. She also cries with all of her uncles but is absolutely fine with any woman that she’s never met before.

@Rebecca Both her grandads and some of her uncles have beards but so does my partner so I though she’d be fine with them! I just feel so bad for my dad when he holds her and she just gets so upset 😭
Yes! Mine is not a fan of anyone else except me or my husband, but when it comes to other men she gets really upset. She has only just started tolerating my dad, we had to slowly keep trying, he would pass her toys and talk to her from a distance. We stopped trying him holding her for a while as it was just stressing her out, but gradually she’s become more accepting and will let him hold her now! X

Same. Mines not too fussed on anyone holding him except me and his dad and my mum. But he is especially tearful with men sometimes and I've heard beards scare them!
